Our Friend’s Tourist Map Showed Us How to Enjoy the Sights along the Mississippi

My husband came up with the most fascinating suggestion the other night. He thought that the two of us might really enjoy a steamboat cruise down the Mississippi, stopping at interesting places along the way. Apparently a friend and his wife had tried this and loved every minute of it. My husband pulled out a well-used tourists map and showed me all the points of interest that we could take in along our excursion route. I am intrigued by the whole idea. I think this bears looking into further. It certainly sounds like a relaxing and restful way to travel through the countryside. The Mississippi boat trip sounds like a winner.
