Christchurch Temperatures
October 31st, 2009 by admin
Christchurch is located on the South Island of New Zealand. It’s the second largest city in New Zealand. The area surrounding it is known as Canterbury. Christchurch is a wonderful place to visit, and you can find a cheap christchurch accommodation if you look. The climate is dry and temperate, with temperatures averaging in the mid-70′s in the summer. There is often a sea breeze through the area. In the winter the temperature often drops to freezing at night. Christchurch receives very little snow, on average they receive one or two snowfalls a year. Remember if traveling that the seasons in New Zealand are opposite those in the United States.
