Visiting Los Gigantes Cliffs and Staying in Tenerife Hotels

When we go to one of the Tenerife hotels we have chosen, we are going to be staying near the amazing view of the Los Gigantes Cliffs, which will be not far from where we are. The name means ‘The Giants’, because they are so huge. There is a lot of history with the cliffs, including how people use to peer over the edge and throw stones at invading ships in the 18th century. When you look up from the floor, it is easy to see why this was such a good defense tactic. Because of the cliffs, some people said that Tenerife was at the end of the world, because of the sheer drop.
