    Amazon To Profit From The Release Of The Apple iPad

    It’s hard to imagine that Amazon is to despondent about the unveiling of Apple’s new iPad. It is possible that they may sell less of the amazon kindle e-book reader as a result. However, bearing in mind that the iPad has an App that lets users read Kindle books, it could just as easily lead to further sales of e-books. The other thing is that, when the iPad goes on sale towards the end of March, it’s a fair bet that a lot of the custom – and there will be plenty of it – will be channeled through the Amazon web-site. It just shows what a good business model Amazon have got set up.
