As it is their golden anniversary then I think that something gold would be very appropriate. I think that perhaps a watch of some sort might be good for my Dad. I am wondering whether pocket watches are more appropriate for this sort of occasion but then again, he would use a wrist watch more, so it really depends on whether I want something useful as well as collectible. mothers day crafts I think that I would rather that it was something that he could use and so I will probably get him a really special gold wrist watch that he can wear on special occasions. He never wears a waistcoat and so would not really ever wear a pocket watch anyway.
