    I Like Playing Rhythm Guitar in the Background

    When it comes to playing in our band, I am always relieved that I stand back from the crowd. Being out in front is just not my thing. In fact, it took a long time for me to feel comfortable on stage at all. I like the fact that I play rhythm guitar because that means I get to back up the lead singers. Everyone pays attention to them, and I do my own thing. I know that I am not totally obscure, and I do have some fans, but I am really not in this for the glory. I love music and being part of something that makes incredible music that people can appreciate is good enough for me.
